How many times have you had to keep switching between documents when you wished you could just see them all at the same time? For example, composing an email whilst referencing information on a spreadsheet and a PDF? The process of dragging and resizing these windows manually is very fiddly and time consuming.
And then when you're done, you've got to move them all back! Step in Window Tidy. Window Tidy lets you quickly and easily arrange your application windows on your Desktop onto a customisable grid using nothing but drag and drop! When you want to reposition a window, there are no hot-keys to remember or menus to click, you simply drag and drop the window onto customisable pop-up Layout Icon and it will instantly snap to that layout.
It also works seamlessly over multiple monitors too! You can create any number of layouts, each with it's own grid size, so in just a few seconds you can take control of your Desktop and get working more efficiently. Interrupts workflow (2.1.5) 6/22/2017 12:50:34 PM 2/5 By LTGIV I want to give this 4 or 5 stars, because it’s great, and you should buy it. That said, the developers have decided to bomb it with adware that: 1) Bothers you to buy this program with a new name, “Mosaic”. 2) Interrupted my workflow in the office, to rate the software. Great, thanks for interrupting my workflow, and screwing up my train of thought while I was trying to solve a difficult problem; 2 stars instead of 4-5.
Any more interruptions, and I’ll probably just delete this program. This is an app that you positively need to have! (2.1.5) 6/7/2017 3:35:32 PM 5/5 By jango-foo If you are like me and find you have windows open all over the place, this app will dramatically simplify how you organize and stack those windows. Awesome for working with multiple text docs, copying and pasting between apps, amazing for web page / doc interaction, awesome when you want to watch a movie or listen to musicJust a REALLY good way to get and stay organized when you have 10’s or 100’s of things open at one time. The next best thing to multiple monitors and makes laptop-life much better!
You need this more than you think (2.1.5) 4/28/2017 1:50:12 PM 5/5 By rcrooks This handy little utility saves me time and frustration constantly by providing a bunch of preset size/positions everytime I drag an app window. There are some default settings, but you can add your own custom ones as well. If you need several apps open most of the time, or frequently need to look at docs side-by-side, or size windows precisely for screenshots and screencasts, or if you frequently plug in to external monitors of various sizes, you'll find this little gem will save you the seconds that add up to hours over the course of a week.
