I've switched from Windows to Mac and have a question that has probably been asked before but my search didn't pull up much. I'm looking for a simple photo viewer along the lines of the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. I love that program because it is so simple and does what I want and not much else. Preview is really primitive by comparison. It doesn't allow you skip to the next file unless you selected it beforehand and doesn't display the exif data.

Open the info window, click the details tab, then click through your images one at a time in the drawer. Zoom using Command+ and command- Use the spacebar to toggle between the hand and selection tool. I have tried all the options listed in the thread (Preview, Xee, ViewIt, and PhotoReviewer) and I didn't see a way to browse local drives as you see the images. Kind of an integrated finder view + image details, etc.
